About Me:

Dr. Keisha Hudson is a dedicated school psychologist with a unique interdisciplinary background in both medicine and psychology. She earned her medical degree and completed her training in medical school; however, she does not practice medicine in her current role. Instead, Keisha has intentionally transitioned into a second career as a school psychologist, where she focuses on supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral development within educational settings.

Prior to her work in school psychology, Keisha served with PASS, Inc. (Physicians Assisted Student Success), a nationally recognized organization dedicated to helping medical students prepare for and successfully pass their medical board examinations. Through this work, she developed a strong foundation in academic coaching, test preparation strategies, learning styles, and high-stakes performance support, skills that continue to inform her work with students today.

Keisha is passionate about helping children and adolescents thrive in school by addressing learning differences, emotional and behavioral challenges, and barriers to academic success. She collaborates closely with students, families, educators, and school teams to provide comprehensive assessments, consultation, and evidence-based interventions. Her approach is strengths-based, culturally responsive, and rooted in psychological science and best practices in education.

Now in her second career, Keisha finds deep fulfillment in supporting students and families and is excited about this new professional journey. She is committed to empowering school communities and promoting student well-being, resilience, and success both in and beyond the classroom.
