TaShanya Tyndell is a Florida native. She was born in Leesburg, FL. She grew up in Winter Springs, Florida, and graduated from Lyman High School. After graduating high school, Ms. Tyndell earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master of Science, and an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. Ms. Tyndell also received her Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from National Louis University. Ms. Tyndell has over 17 years of experience as a School Psychologist within Orange County Public Schools, Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. Ms. Tyndell enjoys being a School Psychologist as it allows her to work with students, parents, and educators to assist with meeting the needs of the whole child/student to reach their full potential and be productive citizens.

Ms. Tyndell is a Certified School Psychologist in the state of Florida. She is currently pursuing her licensure to become a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. In addition to conducting Psycho-educational evaluations within the public school setting, she is passionate about assessing a child’s strengths and areas of need. She has experience evaluating students with Specific Learning Disabilities, Emotional/Behavioral Disorders, ADHD, Giftedness, Intellectual Disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
As a NASP PREPaRE Trainer for Workshop 2, Third Edition, Mental Health Crisis Interventions: Responding to Acute Traumatic Stressors in School. Ms. Tyndell is uniquely qualified to respond to acute traumatic stressors in school settings. She is also a district crisis coordinator in OCPS, where she developed best practices for response procedure development and implementation.
