Hi there! My name is Ashley Womble, a passionate and dedicated certified school psychologist. My mission is to empower students, parents, and educators to overcome challenges and thrive in the educational environment.
Ashley's Biography
About Me:
Since my undergraduate career at the University of Florida, I have been drawn to the fields of both education and psychology, which ultimately led me to become a school psychologist. I earned my graduate degrees from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. During my combined Master of Science (M.S.) and Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) programs at FSU, I completed a three-year, 76-hour course of academic study, including extensive practicum experience, and an approved full-time internship. This program trained me to my fullest potential through its rigorous practicum experience, as well as working as a psychoeducational evaluator at FSU's Adult Learning Evaluation Center (ALEC), where I completed evaluations with college students and other adults for the purposes of determining learning disabilities and mental health diagnoses.
Currently, I am a certified school psychologist in the state of Florida and work full-time for Brevard Public Schools. Outside of my career, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering within my community.
